Tropic Star Lodge Welcomes Private Yachts
We have a private yacht membership and we love to welcome anglers from all over the world. Membership includes use of Tropic Star Lodge amenities.
We have moorings available for yachts up to 70’. Moorings are first come first serve basis. Larger yachts use their anchor.

December thru February
Piñas Bay Resort will reserve any available rooms during a weekly Saturday to Saturday schedule. These rooms are reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis & should be prepaid through our Reservations Office. More often that not, lodge rooms cannot be reserved until all TSL boats are reserved and deposits received.
Once you have a confirmed room, the room must be prepaid and payments made will be nonrefundable. Cancellations made 31 days prior to arrival can be transferred to a future week within that seaso
Due to high demand, in most cases – only one room will be reserved per yacht.
March thru September
Our spacious rooms can be rented, pending availability. During this time of year, rooms can be rented by the day or week and can be paid in Piñas or through our reservations office. Cancellations made 31 days prior to arrival can be transferred to a future week in the same season.
Dining Options for Visiting Yachts
Visiting yacht owner, their sport-fishing guests and crew members approved in our Private Yacht Membership can make meal reservations as follows:
We have weekly BBQ’s Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday evening. All are welcome! Dinner menu available at our new Marlin Bar and Restaurant – kindly RSVP 6 hours before arrival. Sit down dinners are more limited and can vary from week to week. Please request your reservations 24 hours in advance for all dinner reservations.
We are a first-class resort. Please make sure your crew and guests dress appropriately, especially after 6:00pm.
Visa and MasterCard can be used both in Pinas and to reserve your membership. We strongly urge you to call your bank and advise them that your credit card will be used in the Republic of Panama.
Please note: Recently some of the credit card companies have instituted a foreign transaction charge. As all credit card transactions are processed in the Panama City TSL office, we urge you to call your credit card company in order to verify that they are not charging this new foreign transaction fee.
